Thanks to those who loved me,
They made my heart BIGGER.

Thanks to those who hated me,
They made me more STRONGER.

Thanks to those who were worried about me,
they let me know that they really CARED.

Thanks to those who left me,
They made me realize nothing LASTS FOREVER.

Thanks to those who remember me in their prays,
They made me EXIST even I am not there.

Thanks to those who criticized,
They made me learn what I do not know before.

Thanks to those who appreciate,
They give me courage to walk on my chosen way.

Thanks to those who come in my life and never left,

Iqbal – Poet, Philosopher, Politician, and The Dreamer

Lab pe aati hai dua ban k tamanna meri… Zindagi Shamma ki sura ho khudaya meri’

This is the very first poem I remember Iqbal for, the lines that appeal me most from the primary school age till now are ‘Zindagi ho meri parwaney ki surat Ya Rab! Ilm ki shamma se ho mujhko muhaabat Ya Rab!’

This is how I see Iqbal.
